The idea of this garden was constantly reimagined by its owner. He got to know his garden better, falling in love with it more and more season after season. His typical morning begins with a short walk to set the mood for the day, reflect, notice changes, and imagine new ones.
Over several years, the request for the landscape changed in its very essence: from a modern countryside space for the family to an open exhibition garden with a large collection of plants and the feelings they evoke.
The garden has always been of paramount importance, so during the architectural design phase, it was decided to place the buildings in the corners. The center remained free for creating a classic Scandinavian garden, offering such diverse moments and states.
This landscape features local plants and unique exotics. They were selected delicately to avoid putting the surrounding environment at risk. For instance, we found a suitable beech from a collector, grown in the northwestern region. The island Korean mountain ash Dodong with its incredibly bright red foliage was brought adapted from Sweden.
The shady forest encounters a sunny lawn. Brutal stones with a weightless cloud of grasses. Color appears not only in flowers. The garden is beautiful in autumn too, with the emergence of a new palette of ochre, brown, yellow branches and roots, needles and seed pods, stones and earth.
