The family of this house doesn't miss vacations and travels. Every day they are surrounded by a captivating landscape. Scandinavian architecture would not forgive negligence in its surroundings — terraces and lawns naturally extended life beyond the interiors.
Plants here are not props. All elements of the environment develop relationships with them. A bright, dynamic flower garden emphasizes the geometry and laconicism of exteriors, low voluminous pines maintain borders along terraces, the stone of paths repeats the stone on facades. The garden has a style, and it accurately reflects the character of the owners. Attentive, appreciating comfort, weekend barbecues, harvesting, quiet relaxation on the terrace and by the pool. Following their traditions, we planned all areas so that they would be within walking distance for the family. What we really succeeded in was multiplying the sense of cohesion and family support. Four-meter thujas and a rare spreading English oak are responsible for this.
