The 'Kuindzhi' house is a space of light, peace, and strength. Like the paintings of Arkhip Kuindzhi, which radiate an inner light, the house and its carefully considered green surroundings inspire a life of harmony.
Kuindzhi recreates a small Karelian forest — a calm, peaceful spot to breathe pine-scented air, find your balance, and escape the heat beneath the tree canopy.
These are deep and enjoyable moments for the city-dweller to pause, to slow down, and to spend time in privacy. Every other landscaped area blends naturally into the forest setting. Function follows residents' needs — nothing here is random.
In addition to a water channel running through the entire area, walking trails connect section doorways to the main landscaping areas. To stay true to the building, we echoed the facade's geometry in the paving pattern — a quiet nod to the architecture within the landscape itself.
